MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) Bekasi Series 2 2025 - 2026, held at Bekasi International Soccer Field and Yonif 202 Tajimalela Field from April 28 to May 3, 2026, was successfully organized. In the final match on Sunday (3/5), SDN Jatiwaringin 2 emerged as the champion after defeating SDN Karang Anyar 03 Pagi in a penalty shootout with a score of 2-0 in the KU 10 category. Meanwhile, in the KU 12 category, SDN Sukaresmi 06 became the champion after defeating SDN Padurenan IV.
The victory of SDN Sukaresmi 06 was a response to their defeat against SDN Padurenan IV in the final match of MLSC Bekasi Series 1 2025-2026, last September. The Srikandi of SDN Sukaresmi 06 immediately played aggressively and started the match at a high tempo. In the 6th minute, Saira Clara Devina unleashed a powerful shot that threatened, but it was still able to be blocked by the opponent's defense line.
The pressure that was continuously built up finally paid off. In the 16th minute, SDN Sukaresmi 06 managed to break the deadlock after SDN Padurenan IV's goalkeeper, Febiyanti Ramadhani, failed to anticipate a shot from Saira Clara Devina. That goal allowed SDN Sukaresmi 06 to end the first half with a 1-0 lead. In the second half, when the match reached the 24th minute, SDN Sukaresmi 06 extended their lead thru Chacha Adhelia's spectacular long-range goal. The ball, which shot thru from half the field, could not be well anticipated by the goalkeeper of SDN Padurenan IV, Febiyanti Ramadhani.
The 2-0 lead held until the end of the match, and SDN Sukaresmi 06 successfully secured the championship title for the first time at the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) Bekasi.
One of the goal scorers for SDN Sukaresmi 06, Saira Clara Devina, admitted she was happy to contribute to her team's victory. According to Saira, she was initially burdened by the loss in the first meeting. However, the hard work and support from her teammates managed to make SDN Sukaresmi 06 perform more solidly throughout the match.
"I am very happy to score a goal, especially against this opponent who had beaten us in the previous match. But in the end, I am glad we won. All of this is thanks to the support from others and also because all the players increased their training," Saira said proudly.
The coach of SDN Sukaresmi 06, Septian, expressed his gratitude that his players could perform freely despite having lost in the previous encounter. According to Septian, this success is due to the hard work of the players who managed to learn from their mistakes.
"We have evaluated the notes from the previous meeting." Today, thank God, we were able to redeem yesterday's defeat. We managed to accomplish it today. This is all thanks to the hard work of the players who continue to train and correct their mistakes," said Septian.
Meanwhile, the tension in the battle for the championship title is also palpable in the KU 10 sector. SDN Jatiwaringin 2, which only managed to secure the runner-up position in the inaugural series, has a great ambition to step onto the highest podium. They had to contend with the impressive actions of SDN Karang Anyar 03 Pagi from the moment the initial whistle was blown. They attempted to pressure the defense of SDN Jatiwaringin 2, but several attacks they built were still able to be thwarted by the disciplined backline.
SDN Jatiwaringin 2 did not go down without a fight. In the 6th minute, Earlyta Arsyfa took a long-range shot that was quite threatening. However, the attempt was still well secured by the goalkeeper of SDN Karang Anyar 03 Pagi, Aqilla Farzana.
A golden opportunity arose again in the 9th minute, this time for SDN Karang Anyar 03 Pagi. Nafisha Adila Sartika managed to break free and was left one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Even so, the final finish was still thwarted by the SDN Jatiwaringin 2 goalkeeper, Faulina Rahma Gianti, who performed swiftly under the crossbar. Until the halftime whistle was blown, no goals had been scored and the score remained tied at zero.
Entering the 24th minute, SDN Karang Anyar 03 Pagi once again had a golden opportunity thru Anindita Salina. However, the close-range shot she took was once again thwarted by the SDN Jatiwaringin 2 goalkeeper, Faulina Rahma, who performed solidly throughout the match. Until the normal time ended, both teams still failed to score, so the match had to continue to a penalty shootout.
In a penalty shootout drama, SDN Jatiwaringin 2 secured the championship title of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) Bekasi Series 2 2025–2026 for the KU10 category after winning with a score of 2-0. Two of their three penalty takers, Chantika Aulia Varisha and Nuri Maulinda, successfully executed their duties well, while one other execution was thwarted.
The Trend of Women's Football in Bekasi City is Increasing
Looking at the event data, the girls' football tournament initiated by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and MilkLife has received high enthusiasm from the community. This is evidenced by the number of participants in the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) Bekasi Series 2 2025 - 2026, which reached 1,164 participants from 76 Elementary Schools (SD) and Islamic Elementary Schools (MI). Meanwhile, in Series 1, the number of participants was 1,036 from 67 Elementary Schools (SD) and Islamic Elementary Schools (MI). The increase in participants also led to a rise in the number of teams, from 92 teams in Series 1 to 105 teams consisting of 31 teams in the U10 category and 74 teams in the U12 category in this Series 2.
Deputy Program Manager of the Djarum Foundation's Bakti Olahraga, Welly Arisanto, appreciates the growing interest in the development of women's football in Bekasi and its surroundings. He believes that the increase in participant enthusiasm is a positive indicator that the coaching program being implemented is starting to show real impact at the early age level.
"The trend is already quite good, we will continue to encourage schools to support it." This is only Series 2, but the enthusiasm is already encouraging, signaling positive progress for the ongoing development efforts. The hope for the future is that the ecosystem of female football athletes is well-maintained so that new talents can emerge from the city of Bekasi," he said.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the consistent increase in participation is an important foundation in building a sustainable women's football ecosystem. "With more participants getting involved, it will certainly strengthen the development base from an early age," he added.
Meanwhile, the Head Coach of MilkLife Soccer Challenge Extra Training MLSC Bekasi, Joni Setiawan, stated that the participants' development in the implementation of Series 2 shows an improvement in terms of quality. In fact, they have already started to get an idea of the players who have the potential to be selected for the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All Stars.
"Overall, the talents showcased throughout the Series 2 event have shown quite good progress." The quality of the players participating this time also appears to be more prominent compared to the previous edition. "I even had difficulty selecting the players who would advance to the Extra Training All Star Bekasi stage, so they could sharpen their mental skills and improve their ball-handling abilities," said Joni.
