The roar of support from the audience made the final match of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge Bandung Series 1 2025-2026, held at the Chandradimuka Pusdikif Field in Bandung, West Java on Sunday (September 21st), even more competitive. In the KU 10 category, SD Pelita successfully became the champion after defeating the previous series winner, SDN 075 Jatayu. Meanwhile, SDN 026 Bojongloa finally reached the top podium in KU 12 after overcoming the resistance of SDN 004 Cisaranten Kulon.
Looking at the progress of the match in the KU 10 final, the game between SD Pelita and SDN 075 Jatayu was intense from the kickoff. Just one minute into the match, SD Pelita took an early lead after their star player, Naquita Syahmina Guntara, successfully scored a goal thanks to a cross from the right side that she finished with a low shot into the corner of the opponent's goal.
Being up 1-0 made the players of SD Pelita even more confident about securing a victory in that match. Dangerous attacks continued to be launched by SD Pelita, and they had several ripe opportunities in front of the SDN 075 Jatayu goal. SD Pelita even came close to doubling their lead in the 6th minute. Honey, Naquita's free kick was still saved by the goalkeeper of SDN 075 Jatayu, Tiara Rizky Qulsum.
In the 9th minute, SD Pelita once again had the opportunity to score their second goal. But again, it wasn't maximized by Raisya Rena Alfiyani, who took a powerful shot from the middle of the field. The relentless attacks by SD Pelita finally resulted in their second goal of the match. Naquita scored again in the 11th minute after a powerful low shot from a distance ripped thru the goal of SDN 075 Jatayu. Just one minute later, Naquita completed a hat-trick by scoring against the opponent with her signature shot from outside the opponent's goal line. Despite SDN 075 Jatayu's efforts to catch up and seize a golden opportunity, the 3-0 score for SD Pelita remained unchanged at the end of the first half.
Entering the second 15 minutes, SD Pelita, who are aiming for their first title in the MilkLife Soccer Challenge, still dominated the game. Some opportunities were also successfully created, including from a penalty kick in the 16th minute after SD Jatayu player Nayswa Naura Maulida committed a handball inside her own team's penalty area. Unfortunately, Naquita's execution still hit the crossbar. Despite failing to score from the penalty spot, Naquita, the son of Persib Bandung legend Yudi Guntara, managed to make amends in the 22nd minute. He successfully scored his fourth goal after a long-range shot that the goalkeeper of SDN 075 Jatayu was unable to stop. The score also changed to 4-0.
In the 22nd minute, the match became even more exciting when the goalkeeper of SDN 075 Jatayu, Tiara Rizky Qulsum, was injured and replaced by Arsifa Kayla Putri. Despite playing as a forward, Arsifa made a positive impact with an outstanding performance under the crossbar. This was evident from several golden opportunities by SD Pelita that were thwarted, including a free kick taken by Naquita in the 24th minute. That situation made the players of SDN 075 Jatayu even more enthusiastic about catching up. As a result, the defending champions of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge Bandung in June 2025 managed to narrow the score thanks to Nayswa in the 29th minute. The goal was scored after her long-range shot was unable to be saved by SD Pelita Adzkia goalkeeper Nabila Habibah.
At the end of the match, SD Pelita even came close to scoring their second goal thru an individual effort by Nayswa, who dribbled from the center into the opponent's goal area. However, her shot still missed the target. The score of 4-1 for SD Pelita held until the end of the match.
Pelita Kaka Hielmy Elementary School coach appreciated the efforts of his students, who successfully brought home the championship title for the Milklife Soccer Challenge Bandung in the U-10 age group for the first time. According to him, the success was due to the players' persistence in training before participating in the event.
They've been preparing for this for a long time. Our training isn't three times a week, it's five times a week. Some of our players also train at football academies, so their training isn't just at school, but at their respective academies. In this final match, we emphasized tactics and finishing to the players," said Kaka.
Meanwhile, Naquita, who successfully led her school to victory, said that despite winning the final match, the game against SDN 075 Jatayu was the toughest she played during the MilkLife Soccer Challenge Bandung Series 1 2025-2026. "But because we kept practicing and my father told us we had to be brave and score goals, we finally won this match," said Naquita, who has loved football since kindergarten. Thanks to her excellent performance, Naquita was also named the top scorer in the U10 category with 52 goals.
Meanwhile, the final KU 12 match between SDN 026 Bojongloa and SDN 004 Cisaranten Kulon was exciting and captivating. The exchange of attacks was evident from the start of the first half. Both teams performed very well and strongly in defense. However, SDN 004 Cisaranten Kulon managed to take the lead first thru Nayla Azzahra Kustiawan in the 6th minute after capitalizing on the chaos in front of the SDN 026 Bojongloa goal.
Unfortunately, its advantages didn't last long. SDN 026 Bojongloa managed to equalize thru Azahra Artikasari in the 9th minute. In fact, Azahra turned the game around for her team thanks to her second goal after her high shot went toward the opponent's goal and was unable to be anticipated by the goalkeeper of SDN 004 Cisaranten Kulon, who was guarded by Tania Nurhasanti, in the 12th minute. The 2-1 lead for SDN 026 Bojongloa held until the end of the first half.
In the second half, SDN 026 Bojongloa, who only reached the semifinals at the MilkLife Soccer Challenge Bandung 2025 last June, played with more confidence and continued to dominate the game. However, SDN 004 Cisaranten Kulon, who were also aiming for their first title in the MilkLife Soccer Challenge, tried to equalize the score in the remaining time of the match. While attacking with gusto, SDN 004 Cisaranten Kulon conceded a third goal scored by SDN 026 Bojongloa. It was Alisa Aila Rawung who managed to extend her team's lead to 3-1 at the end of the match. That goal also brought SDN 026 Bojongloa their first championship title in the Milklife Soccer Challenge Bandung.
Women's Football in Bandung is Starting to Rise
The wheel of the women's football development ecosystem in Bandung, West Java, is starting to turn. This is evident from the high number of participants in the MilkLife Soccer Challenge Bandung Series 1 2025-2026, which was held at the Candradimuka Pusdikif Field and Sidolig Stadium from Tuesday (September 16th) to Sunday (September 21st). A total of 1,904 female students from 78 Elementary Schools (SD) and Islamic Elementary Schools (MI) in Bandung and surrounding areas participated in the tournament initiated by the Djarum Foundation's Sports Bakti and MilkLife.
Fauzi Bramantio, head coach of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge Bandung, stated that in line with the massive early childhood development thru the MilkLife Soccer Challenge, which is held twice a year, the achievements of West Java's female soccer players are also starting to show. After winning gold at the National Sports Week (PON) in 2024, athletes from Bandung also won the 2025 Pertiwi All Stars Cup for U-14 & U-16 in Kudus last July.
The atmosphere of women's football in West Java, especially in Bandung, is very strong. After winning a gold medal at the PON last year and the 2025 Pertiwi All Stars Cup, many football schools are now opening special classes for girls. This is a positive development for the revival of women's football in Bandung. Beside achievements, the nursery is also improving with the arrival of new talents in this year's Miliklife Soccer Challenge," said Fauzi.
In line with this, the Program Director of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge, Teddy Tjahjono, stated that Bandung has a wealth of talented individuals who can be honed into professional footballers in the future. This is why Bandung is always one of the tournament host cities for the U10 and U12 age groups. He hopes that the MilkLife Soccer Challenge, which is held regularly in Bandung, can produce athletes who will later become the foundation for the glory of Indonesian women's football on the world stage.
The MilkLife Soccer Challenge in Bandung is always interesting because the city has a strong football tradition, there's an elite club based here, so the women's football ecosystem can function well. In this year's event, we are not only focusing on the KU 10 and KU 12 categories, but are also starting to promote women's football at an earlier age with the SenengSoccer Festival for girls aged eight and under. "Hopefully, a love for women's football can be born from a younger age," said Teddy.
