MilkLife Healthy Family Festival 2025: "Winning Against Stunting: Healthy Steps, Strong Generation"

Djarum Foundation's Social Service, in collaboration with Savoria Group and the Kudus Regency Government, has once again taken the initiative to organize an event titled "Milklife Festival Keluarga Sehat 2025," which will be held at Simpang Tujuh Square, Kudus, from Saturday (November 15th) to Sunday (November 16th). Awareness and concern for child growth and development are driving various parties in Kudus Regency to collaborate on efforts to prevent stunting.

The 2025 Healthy Family Festival is themed "Winning Against Stunting: Healthy Steps, Strong Generation". This theme also serves as an invitation to all elements of the Kudus community to work together in preventing the dangers of stunting. This festival is open and attended by thousands of residents, ranging from teenage girls, couples of childbearing age, brides-to-be, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, to mothers with young children.

Kudus Regent Dr. Ars. Sam'ani Intakoris, S.T., M.T. stated that the role of the community, especially parents, is crucial in preventing stunting. As a determining factor in children's health, parents should have adequate knowledge about nutritious foods, how to prepare them, and how to feed their children. Therefore, the Milklife Healthy Family Festival can be an appropriate educational tool to reach the public, especially parents.

"The 2025 Healthy Family Milklife Festival aims to raise public awareness about the importance of parents' role in combating stunting. Poor nutritional status can impact the health and intelligence of children in the future. Djarum Foundation's social service has always accompanied and supported healthy families in Kudus, resulting in a decrease in the number of stunting cases in Kudus Regency to 4.03%, according to data. What the Djarum Foundation's social service has done is very helpful for all of us in building a healthy and strong generation. Therefore, all levels of the Kudus District Government must support this, especially the District Heads, Village Heads, Village Assistants, and Village Midwives, who must work together to make Kudus free from stunting," explained Regent Sam'ani.

The Bupati also expressed appreciation to the Djarum Foundation Social Service and Milklife for initiating the stunting prevention program both within the company and in the wider community. He hopes that good collaborative work with all stakeholders in Kudus Regency can contribute to reducing the prevalence of malnutrition quickly.

At the same time, Djarum Foundation Social Service Program Director Achmad Budiharto stated that the Milklife Healthy Family Festival 2025 was organized as one way to raise and broaden awareness about stunting prevention.

The Healthy Family Milk Life Festival is also one of our efforts to help the government quickly reduce stunting rates, especially in Kudus Regency. We are aware that the prevalence of stunting in Kudus is quite high and difficult to decrease. One of the reasons is that public understanding of the dangers and risks that will befall their children is still lacking. "Through this activity, we want to provide education, treatment, and prevention of stunting to the community so that they become more aware of the dangers of malnutrition," said Budiharto.

Beside SDIDTK, mandatory immunization for toddlers, premarital vaccination, triple elimination screening, educational activities related to stunting, and the psychological condition of pregnant and breastfeeding mothers are also very important to monitor. "We will collaborate with the posyandu/PKK and puskesmas spread across Kudus Regency, the Kudus Regency PAUD Group, and all Djarum Group Work Units in order to reduce the rate of malnutrition in Indonesia," said Budiharto.

Milklife Danang Field Promotion Manager Adityo Pramandaru hopes that with the Milklife Healthy Family Festival 2025 in Kudus Regency, all residents will become more aware of the dangers threatening children with malnutrition. He hopes that the people of Kudus Regency will pay more attention to the nutritional needs of children, especially in the first thousand days of life.

The primary target audience for the 2025 Milklife Healthy Family Festival is not only pregnant and breastfeeding mothers and young children, but also teenage girls and fertile couples, as they will be the parents responsible for ensuring their children's nutritional needs are met. The Milklife Healthy Family Festival 2025 is free and open to the public. "Here we provide health service booths for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, toddlers, as well as a children's playground that visitors can access directly," said Danang.

Previously, several activities leading up to Milklife FKS 2025 have already been underway. Among others: the "Smart Shopping for Healthy Food" activity held throughout October 2025, taking place at SKT Sidorekso, SKT Kesambi and SKT Megawon Group, and SKT Karangbener, with a total of 2,500 employes participating. Then there was the Clean and Healthy Action (SIKAT) which was carried out in Klumpit Village and Kesambi Village, attended by 300 local villagers.

"With so many activities, so much education about nutrition and healthy living, we are optimistic that Kudus Regency will win against stunting and move toward the Golden Generation of 2045," said Achmad Budiharto, Program Director of Djarum Foundation Social Service. He emphasized that the main goal of FKS is to educate the public, especially the people of Kudus Regency, about the prevention and management of stunting, preparing the golden generation toward Indonesia Emas 2045.

Furthermore, Achmad Budharto explained the implementation of the Healthy Family Festival 2025, which was held today, "The Healthy Family Festival 2025 will feature a wide array of activities that can be enjoyed by all residents of Kudus. The activities held include: health education and checkups for adolescents, soon-to-be brides and grooms, couples of childbearing age, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and mothers with toddlers. And in this year's event, we've added education and a presentation about a healthy living environment related to sanitation and safe drinking water access.

He added, "The layout for this year's event has also been designed like a life cycle, starting from what needs to be prepared from adolescence to marriage and having children, so that we can produce a generation free from stunting. The hope is that all target groups, starting from adolescents, can learn what things they need to prepare before they reach the next stage of life."

Additionally, there were other equally exciting activities, such as a healthy family walk with door prizes including a Polytron motorcycle, refrigerator, TV, washing machine, and other gifts. There will be competitions for children and families, such as crawling races, coloring contests, mother and chick races, MPASI cooking contests, and several other competitions. Equally interesting, we will present education related to stunting in the form of humorous shadow puppets performed by Djarum Theater.
